A chilly autumn evening, a warm college welcome!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Oakes Open Evening! It was wonderful to welcome so many prospective students and their families through our doors to explore our subjects, discover what life at our college is all about, and find out whether we might be the right fit for their next steps.

We want to give a special shout out to our fantastic current students!  From sharing their enthusiasm for their subjects to talking about the friendships, support and sense of belonging that make our college community so special – they showed our visitors what makes this place more than just somewhere to study.

We’re incredibly proud of our students for giving up their evening to share their experiences, answer questions and offer such a genuine insight into college life. You truly brought our community spirit to life!

Thank you to everyone who came along, got involved and helped make the evening such a success. The weather may have been autumnally chilly, but the welcome was wonderfully warm!

Here’s to new beginnings, exciting possibilities and finding your place in our Oakes community. 💫
