Cashless Payment System

Oakes College operates a cashless payment system. Students are issued with their WisePay account login details at the beginning of the Autumn Term of Year 12.

We encourage all students to login to their accounts, as the majority will need to use these at some stage during their time with us.

Here are just some examples:

Student ID Cards – all students are issued with an ID card when they join the college. If they should lose their card, they are required to order a replacement via their WisePay account.  There is a small cost incurred for this.

Course Materials/Books – some courses have specific materials/books that students are able to purchase. Course tutors will be able to advise on what is required.

Food/Drink – can be purchased from the Atrium Cafe with personal Bank Cards or, alternatively, funds can be uploaded to a student’s WisePay account. Once funds are on the account, students can purchase food/drink by swiping their student ID card at the Cafe.

Lockers – should a student require the use of a locker, these can be purchased via WisePay. The one-off payment covers the hire for the whole of their time at Oakes College.  Once payment has been made, students should speak to a member of staff in one of the Oakes Offices, with regard to the issue of their locker key. Please allow 24 hours for the payment to process.

College Trips – some courses have compulsory trips, but there are also other opportunities which are not course related.  In previous years there have been trips to the Peak District, New York and Barcelona.
